In case of emergency or need of basic care, here are some things you can use while a healer is not immediately available to you. It is preferable that all healers in training learn and adhere to the same general remedies listed here as well.

The Basic Herb Guide Purple10
Purple Iris
(Found near Pine trees in the Murky Wood, Murky Marsh, and the mountains)

-When chewed into a pulp this flower stops bleeding, prevents infection in open wounds, and has mild remedial properties against dandruff.
-Mixing with the Acacia gum can increase its ability to adhere to wounds.

Dream Root
(Found only in the Murky Marsh)
-Makes a good sedative when chewed by patient.
-When significant quantities are consumed by a wolf, it can induce a deep sleep for several hours.

Elder Plant
(Found in the Golden and Green Woods)

-Elder Fruit is used to treat intestinal worms.
-The plants leaves can be used to treat burns or relieve swelling and inflammation.

-Consuming the leaves as a pulp helps cure sore throat, flu, headaches, and colds.

-When made into a paste and smoothed over infected area, it may slow the effects of gangrene.

-When made into a pulp and rubbed over skin it eases sore muscles, this plant helps with a variety of skin issues, such as raw or itchy spots from bug bites, poison ivy, ect.

-Consuming small amounts of this flower has proven to be effective against minor earaches.

-When mushed with water, it is used to treat ulcers and nettle rash.

-Chewing the inner parts of this trees bark can be helpful in cases of poisoning.

-The potency of these seeds will increase with amount, although little is generally needed.

-Chewing on this bark will mimic the effects of a natural aspirin.

-When the root is chewed on, helps diarrhea.

-When chewed into a pulp, it gives potent relief against bug bites and stings when rubbed on.

(Found everywhere except the mountains and a decreased amount in the Golden Wood)

-Can be placed among bedding to aid in a more restful sleep.
-When a mash is consumed, can aid in insomnia and depression.
